[review] the incredibles
over the weekend
i had a chance
to go see a movie
and i decided to go see
the incredibles
all i can say
is that in a theatre packed with parents and children
i was laughing and exclaiming
with both the parents and the children!
the story has stuff in it for
both parents and children
and i could see the parents just wincing
in empathy a number of times
while the children were laughing at just the silliest things
(well ok,
the children and me :P)
and at the end
when it seemed they might set things up
for a cheesy sequel
i've got to say
the baby jack jack seat
had me laughing so hard
my eyes were tearing
(tearing as in full of tears)
plus,
it had a perfect family ending
which is a good thing
right message and all
another thing,
i went in not knowing any of the cast
but when samuel l. jackson
popped on the screen
i thought he was animated perfectly
and i just KNEW it was him
(one of my favourite actors! bonus!)
anyways,
i'm going to go see this movie again prolly
and likely get the DVD and all that
and i sure hope they DO come out with a sequel
as well written as this one
cool movie
haven't laughed so spontaneously in a while
go see it!
bring your kids!
bring your partners :)
there's something there for everyone
who has a sense of humour
as well as some stuff
for those who don't
*wink*

saw the movie too. Wasn't expecting anything, but looked forward to seeing an animated movie. something I hadn't seen in awhile.
I liked it alot too. My favorite part was when the wife went to get the new suits for the family.
"its indistructable and breathes like Egyptian cotton"
one of my favorite lines in the movie.
definately need to see it again.
